Caroline Stitt is a policy researcher based in Vancouver on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Her research focuses on the intersection of tech policy, geopolitics, and global justice. She holds a Master in European Studies from the University of Bonn, where she specialized in EU tech policy. Before joining the AI+ Planetary Justice Alliance, Caroline worked as an AI policy researcher at the Bonn Sustainable AI Lab. She currently contributes to research and advocacy on AI’s socio-environmental impacts through her work at the AIPJ, where she leads fundraising by building sustainable funding pathways that support our work. She also contributes to the Observatory of Planetary Justice Impacts of AI.
